A resident of California, Karly immigrated here from the Philippines and obtained her undergraduate degree from California State University, Sacramento for Business Marketing. Professionally, Karly began her career in the publishing industry as a reader for Tricia Skinner at Fuse Literary. Her responsibilities quickly grew and she was promoted to Literary Assistant, a role that also included a spot on the production team of Short Fuse Publishing. She is also the Marketing Coordinator of the San Francisco Writers Conference. Prior to agenting, Karly spent ten years as a freelance graphic designer, editor, and writer, and also a technical trainer of the Adobe Creative Suite. She is also currently editing her first manuscript. "Give me manuscripts that make my breath catch, my heart race, my eyes eager to see how the story unfolds," Caserza said.
