Plaza Celebration Art Workshop

SAN PEDRO, Calif. - Aug. 9, 2019 - PRLog -- What do you love about your neighborhood? Join us in creating artwork that reflects your community pride, love for Los Angeles, hopes and dreams for your future experiences at The Music Center Plaza. Using birds as inspiration, LA Commons will lead participants in designing and making bird-shaped paper umbrellas at this workshop on Saturday August 17th at AGCC in Building G, from 3-6pm.

Participants are encouraged to show off their artwork by joining The Music
Center, LA Commons, the Los Angeles Master Chorale, and some of L.A.'s finest dancers, musicians, puppeteers and visual artists at the Plaza for All Celebration on Saturday, August 31st. We're saving a place for you in this once-in-a-lifetime parade from Grand Park to The Music Center's newly renovated Plaza for All! Families and friends are welcome to join along!

Angels Gate Cultural Center is a place that unites art, community and culture through creative discovery, exploration and enlightenment. Angels Gate Cultural Center brings art and culture to the community through interactive classes, gallery exhibits of both local and international artists, professional artists' studios, art education programs in the schools and cultural events.
