Remaining a Solid Christian in These End Times

NORMAN, Okla. - Sept. 24, 2019 - PRLog -- In this Bible Teaching audio, I use sort-of a blog method of discussion regarding Jesus' – "Sermon on the Mount"; his end-times prophecy teaching from Matthew Chapter 24. I also throw a few other things in, as I usually do. There's some personal testimony of mine and of course The Gospel of Jesus Christ in a solid nutshell so-to-speak (overview of the major principles). I speak about Our; God's only begotten Son, who died on the cross for our redemption from sin, through His Precious Blood and His resurrection from the dead – a grace provision for Salvation, not of works we have done but God's gift. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9).

I talk about end-time events happening now, before our very eyes, however, Jesus also said of the few things I mention; "All these are the beginning of sorrows." (Matthew 24:8). Things will get much worse, but I believe, as do many Christians, that "The Rapture" will take place before the horror of "The Great Tribulation" begins to occur (1 Thessalonians 1:10). This will be a seven-year period, in which God allows Satan a final wrath on unredeemed mankind who are in God's image (Genesis 1:26 and Revelation 12:12), while God also sends wrath on a world that rejected His Son (Revelation 19:15). In the meantime, lots of non-believers in God's Word and backslidden Christians are making light of what we see happening before our eyes and ears.

"Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation." (2 Peter 3:3-4).

So, will you be a scoffer (some are phony but are embracing sin), or will you accept God's free gift of salvation, obtained for us by His Son – Jesus Our Messiah and walk the rest of your life, in the light of it?
