Follow on Google News | Columbia University Postbac Premed Program and University of Rochester Establish Linkage AgreementBy: Columbia University Postbac Premed Program "We are constantly working to enhance the support and resources provided to our students, and I am excited about this new partnership and the valuable opportunity it will provide to students who wish to pursue a medical degree at the University of Rochester, which has been educating the nation's future doctors for nearly 100 years," said James Colgrove, Dean of the Postbac Premed Program. Linkage is a formal agreement between a postbaccalaureate program and a medical school that enables exceptional students with a strong interest in a particular school to accelerate the application process. Each year, approximately 25 percent of eligible Postbac Premed students apply to a linkage program. "Our institution is delighted to partner with Columbia. The combination of their exceptional training and our medical school's environment, which focuses on the whole patient, will lead to providers of the future who are leaders in thought, action, and inquiry. We couldn't be happier for our future collaborations," For more information about this linkage agreement with the University of Rochester, and all Postbac Premed linkage programs, visit the Linkage Requirements page (https://gs.columbia.edu/ ### About the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry The University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry (https://www.urmc.rochester.edu/ About the Columbia University Postbaccalaureate Premedical Program The Columbia University Postbac Premed Program (https://gs.columbia.edu/ End
