IMC Health Receives Multiple Awards from Local Business Organizations

MIAMI - July 28, 2021 - PRLog -- IMC Health Medical Centers, now CareMax, Inc. (CMAXW), a technology-enabled care platform providing value-based care and chronic disease management to seniors, received the Healthcare Center of the Year Award from the Latin American Business Association on May 26^th, at the Annual Business Awards Luncheon and Expo, held at the iconic Biltmore Hotel. The healthcare organization was selected for their outstanding work in the community serving the most vulnerable during the COVID-19 pandemic. With the help of corporate partners, local small businesses, and nonprofit organizations, they impacted over 20,000 families in South Florida through distributions of essential care products, emergency food, and personal protection equipment. Now as part of the CareMax family their footprint in the community has expanded and more families will be served in South and Central Florida.

IMC Health was also awarded the Behavioral Health Advocacy Award by the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce on June 25^th at the Biltmore Hotel, for the innovative work they have done with the elderly segment of their patients. The clinics pivoted quickly and went from serving 400 hot meals daily to delivering over 400,000 hot meals to vulnerable senior patients during the pandemic, as well as launching Telehealth, a virtual platform that allows patients to see their doctor from the comfort of their home and not have to risk exposure during the pandemic.
