"Ambitious Amputee" Celebrates Labor Day 2021 with Calendar Photo Shoot for Amputees

ATLANTA - Sept. 1, 2021 - PRLog -- Author and motivational speaker Lawrisa "Genesis" Harris, better known as the "Ambitious Amputee" is planning a calendar photo shoot of amputees that will take place over the Labor Day weekend.  The first session is this Saturday, September 4 at Morgan Falls Overlook Park, 400 Morgan Falls Rd, Sandy Springs, GA at 3:00 p.m.  More photo shoots are scheduled around the country with Cincinnati, OH, Detroit, MI, Petersburg, VA, and Chicago, IL already booked.   The calendar will display the uniqueness and versatility of amputees. It also will serve as a fundraiser to help amputees with various needs including prosthetic replacements and accessories that can cost in the range of $20,000 and up..

Genesis wants to inspire other amputees. Doctors amputated her left leg when she was 7 so she could survive a battle with cancer. Since then she's become an avid motorcyclist, model, semi-truck driver and 4th-degree black belt.  She lives a full life in spite of her circumstances and wants other amputees to do the same.   She created the idea of a photo shoot to bring awareness to everyone about the amputees in the world.

Genesis describes all of the trials and trauma she has survived in her new book, Secrets of a Fallen Rising Star.  The triumphs in her 48 years of life led to the self-proclaimed title of the "Ambitious Amputee."
