Virtual 360 Art Exhibition Tours: Seclusion / Solitude \ Serenity, 2021

Artists Launch Leading Edge AI to Showcase at Eastside Culture Crawl's 25th Anniversary

VANCOUVER, British Columbia - Nov. 22, 2021 - PRLog -- Local artists are going global with the technology forward artificial intelligence software used in the travel, environmental and real estate industries. Garrett Andrew Chong's gallery exhibition: "Seclusion / Solitude \ Serenity" masters the virtual 360° art tour incorporating gallery layouts, artwork details, editions and play video features, when select buttons are clicked (See link at bottom of press release).

Garrett's latest short film "Meditating into the Natural World", 2021 featuring the Ava Stone Savasana Meditation was selected for ECC - Eastside Culture Crawls' 8th annual curated film series "Moving Art - NATURAL ANALOG/UES". Chong's latest 2D artwork: Re_Surfacing, 2021 – "Seclusion unfolds… Serenity awakens" was also selected for the Culture Crawl's juried exhibition "Surfacing".

After a major solo show early this year at the Canadian Pacific Gallery @ Port Moody Arts, and group shows at 2019 Britannia Art Gallery 2019, The Vancouver East Cultural Centre (The Cultch), Eastside Culture Crawl 2021/2019/2018, the mixed and multimedia artist opened his studio at 89 Gore Avenue to the public mid-November 2021. His pieces explore, interpret and juxtapose select prose, iconography and landscapes from ancient civilizations and sacred places including Angkor Temples in Cambodia, Shaolin Temple in China, Machu Picchu in Peru and vast natural wonders of North America. The artworks celebrate the beautiful kinship and spiritual intelligence in the age of intuition. They invite the viewer to behold the majestic earth anew by remaining present, quieting their mind, and reflecting upon our human search for being.

A fourth-generation Chinese-Canadian, Garrett Andrew Chong was born in Armstrong, BC, in the early 60's and graduated with honours from ECUAD (Emily Carr University) in the mid 80's. His pieces capture the auras, energies and "unseen light" within spaces, forms and living beings.

Vancouver's Eastside Culture Crawl is a free annual 4-day visual arts festival in November that involves 400+ artists on Vancouver's Eastside opening their studio to the public.
