Otherwise Brewing closes Q1 with strong revenue and account growth

SAN FRANCISCO - April 4, 2022 - PRLog -- Otherwise Brewing saw strong ongoing demand for its gluten-free beers in the first quarter of 2022, with double-digit sales growth and the addition of 20 new retailers across the Bay Area. These successes come on the heels of an explosive first year in 2021, which saw the brand launch its inaugural beers and build deep retail partnerships across the region.

Account growth was fairly evenly distributed across the inner Bay Area, with roughly equal proportions in San Francisco, Marin County, and the East Bay. The majority were bars and restaurants.

When asked what draws new accounts to the brand, Otherwise Brewing CEO Aaron Gervais stated, "It's the flavor. Everyone sees the demand for gluten-free offerings from their guests, but the fact that we can provide a delicious craft beer that also happens to be gluten free makes it a win-win."

Moving forward into Q2, the priority for Otherwise Brewing is to expand its distribution network further across the Bay Area. With Covid-19 restrictions fading and pent-up consumer demand for dining out, Otherwise Brewing expects to continue seeing strong growth throughout the year.
