Follow on Google News | Streamlined Diversity Visa (DV) Lottery Process AnnouncedSubmission of supporting documents to KCC is no longer required.
By: USA Green Card In past years, applicants had to submit a host of documents to the Kentucky Consular Center (KCC). But now, DV Lottery selectees are only required to submit the DS-260 immigrant visa application form for themselves and any accompanying family members. Nathan Brown, Senior Immigration Strategist at USA Green Card, applauds this development. "This simplification will undeniably streamline the DV process, making it more accessible and enabling more applicants to be scheduled for DV appointments earlier in the program year," he said. Under the revised process, all supporting documents, including birth certificates, court and prison records, military records, police certificates, and a photocopy of the valid passport biographic data page, will be collected during the visa interview at the embassy or consulate. "These updates will significantly improve the efficiency of the Diversity Visa program, creating a smoother, faster journey for those aiming to realize the American dream," Brown adds.
