Vijay Vaswani Named Co-Chair of America's SBDC Millennial Mindset Group

FAIRFAX, Va. - June 13, 2023 - PRLog -- At last year's 2022 America's SBDC conference in San Diego, California, around 1200 SBDC Directors, Advisors, and Instructors came together for the annual conference.

New York SBDC State Director, Sonya Smith at the time, created an interest group to bring together SBDC young professionals. With over 20 members coming from different states throughout the country, their first meet-up was a success.

Building on that momentum, Vijay Vaswani officially joins the ASBDC's Millennial Mindset Group (MMG) as Co-Chair this year.  To build a community of young leaders, the MMG seeks to foster the synergy of Millennials and youth, share ideas on professional development, training, and coaching and increase economic impact for SBDC centers nation-wide.

As their first initiative, the MMG met last week to discuss their first mixer at the 2023 ASBDC Conf. in Nashville, TN. They also launched a LinkedIn Organizational Page as an initial hub to connect SBDC Millennials, Gen Z's, and young entrepreneurs alike.
