BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. - Sept. 7, 2023 - PRLog -- Today Veteran and Republican Congressional candidate in West Virginia's 2nd District, Joe Earley endorsed legislation filed by Senator Mike Braun (R-Indiana) to ban federal mask mandates for domestic air travel, public transit systems, and schools.

"We are not going down this rabbit hole again.  That's why today I am pleased to announce that I am endorsing Senator Braun's bill that will let us breathe," said Earley.  "As your next Congressman, I will oppose all attempts to impose mask mandates and limit our medical freedoms."

"As we have witnessed the vaccines and the masks don't work.  If the vaccines work, why did Dr. Jill Biden test positive this week?" said Earley.

Braun's bill called the Freedom to Breathe Act would ban federal mask mandates for domestic air travel, public transit systems, and schools.  Nursing homes and hospitals would be exempt.

"As a veteran, I fought to protect our rights.  I was horrified during the pandemic to watch our rights and freedoms be tossed aside for unproven science.  I believe that every American should have been given the information they needed to make their own choices," said Earley.

"Today I am also challenging my primary opponent Riley Moore to endorse this legislation.  Will he stand up for our rights or will he hide like he has on the Trump indictments," said Earley.

Last month, Earley called out Moore for being silent on the Trump witch hunt.  Earley has called for a defunding the office of Special Counsel Jack Smith.

"The Biden Administration has weaponized the Justice Department in attempt to rig the 2024 Presidential election.  It is an outrage and it is making the USA into a third world banana republic.  I strongly believe that we should defund the office of the Special Counsel of Jack Smith.  I have had the courage to make my position clear.  Where's Riley Moore?  Does he agree with me or not?  Does he believe that people should be punished for dissent or not?" asked Earley.

"Was Hillary Clinton indicted for saying the election was stolen?  No, she was allowed her freedom of speech.  Stacey Abrams claimed that her election was stolen?  She was not indicted.  Al Gore claimed his election was stolen, but never charged.  None of these Democrats were ever prosecuted, because in the United States of America we have the freedom of speech unless you are Donald Trump.  How can someone who wants to be our congressman remain silent on this infringement of free speech?" asked Earley.

"These recent Smith indictments threaten our fundamental rights.  Smith is using his office to try to win Biden a second term in office.  Using government resources for a campaign is against the law.  It is time to defund the Special Counsel and stop weaponizing the federal government against the people," said Earley.

"We need to elect a  representative with courage.  As a veteran, I have the backbone we need in Congress," added Earley.
