Earley Promises to Serve on House Freedom Caucus. He will ONLY Support a Conservative for Speaker.

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. - Oct. 24, 2023 - PRLog -- Today Veteran and Republican Congressional candidate in West Virginia's 2^nd District, Joe Earley promised to serve on the House Freedom Caucus like Congressman Alex Mooney.

"After 25 moderate Republicans rejected Congressman Jim Jordan as Speaker, it is clear that we need more conservatives in Congress who will stop the runaway spending, stand up to the Biden administration, and the woke agenda.  That's why today I am pledging to serve on the House Freedom Caucus.  I want voters to know that I will be a true conservative unlike my opponent career politician Riley Moore," said Earley.  "Moreover, I am promising to only support a House Freedom Caucus member for Speaker."

The Freedom Caucus, also known as the House Freedom Caucus, is a congressional caucus consisting of conservative Republican (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Republican_Party_(United_States) members of the United States House of Representatives (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_House_of_Representatives). It is generally considered to be the most conservative (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conservatism_in_the_United_States) block within the House Republican Conference (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/House_Republican_Conference).

The caucus was formed in January 2015 by a group of conservatives and Tea Party movement (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tea_Party_movement) members with the aim of pushing the Republican leadership to the right. Its first chairman, Jim Jordan (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Jordan_(American_politician), described the caucus as a "smaller, more cohesive, more agile and more active" group of conservative representatives. Jordan was succeeded as chairman by Mark Meadows (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Meadows) in January 2017, who was then succeeded by Andy Biggs (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andy_Biggs) in October 2019.

"Speaker Kevin McCarthy made a deal that put our nation $4 trillion more in debt!  He pushed to fund Ukraine and cut a deal with 90 Democrats selling out our country.  We need a trusted conservative as Speaker," said Earley.
