Earley Opposes Schumer's Plan!Veteran Joe Earley Challenges Opponents to Join Him in Opposition
BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. - Feb. 5, 2024 - PRLog -- Today Veteran and Republican Congressional candidate Joe Earley (R-WV2) announced his strong opposition to Senator Schumer's fake plan on ending illegal immigration.
"This legislation would allow 5000 illegal immigrants per day to cross into our country. That's 1.8 million more illegals. This cap only lasts for 3 years. This is an open borders bill not a bill to stop the invasion. Worse yet, it gives tens of billions of our tax dollars to other countries. I am opposed," said Earley. "I am challenging my opponents to state where they stand on this bill. Are they with Chuck Schumer or are they going to support the American people?" questioned Earley. "Failure to oppose the Schumer plan is an endorsement of it." Earley believes that illegal immigration is the biggest issue facing our nation. Not only has he traveled to the border to witness the problem first hand and endorsed the Trump deportation plan, but he has also released a 20 point plan to end the problem of illegal immigration. "We need to close the border and not allow 5000 illegals in per day. My plan would end the invasion and remove people who are not legally here. That's what we need in a plan. We don't need to be giving away money or keeping the borders open," said Earley. Earley's plan to end illegal immigration: - Building the wall, - No federal government payouts to illegal immigrants, - End the catch and release program that allows criminal illegal immigrants back on to our streets, - Increasing funding for ICE, - End birthright citizenship for babies born to parents who are illegally in the United States, - End chain migration for non-immediate family members, - Hold back federal funding for sanctuary states and cities, - End the abuse of asylum claims, - Prohibit taxpayer dollars from paying for attorneys for illegal immigrants, - End the visa lottery system, - Prohibit illegal aliens from receiving taxpayer-funded benefits such as health care, welfare and housing, - Increasing penalties on businesses that purposely hire illegal aliens, - Requiring mandatory employer verification, - Re-evaluate criteria for refugee status, - Strengthen background checks on visas, - Withhold certain federal funds for states that allow illegal immigrants to get drivers' licenses, - End visa overstays, - Increase penalties for human trafficking, - Increase funds for courts dealing with deportation disputes, and deny false asylum claims access to our courts, and - Enact merit-based immigration reform to expedite naturalization process. Earley is the only candidate to go to the frontlines of the border crisis. Veteran Joe Earley for Congress End
