Poet Celebrates "Home Work" Chapbook's Third Birthday with Release of Companion Workbook

GREENVILLE, S.C. - March 6, 2024 - PRLog -- In celebration of the third anniversary of the release of "Home Work A Collection of Poems Sparked by One White Woman's Journey on the Matter of Race" on Harriet Tubman Day – March 10^th, poet and Founder of White Girl Advocacy LLC, Melissa Whiteford St. Clair announces the launch of a companion workbook, "White Girl Homework."

"White Girl Homework" is for people who want to learn more about our Nation's collective history using creative ways to explore the cause and effects of racism and systemic racism.

Using this workbook, participants will experience a personal journey of empowerment and encouragement along with the opportunity to increase their knowledge, expand their perspective, and strengthen their relationships with others by exercising their empathy and creativity muscles.

Participants will: 1. Gain historical knowledge to seek better relationships with other races 2. Explore objective perspectives forging friendships across color lines 3. Utilize unique creative processes (journal, draw) to express emotions.

A portion of the proceeds from each book will be donated to a charitable organization.
