BROOKLYN, N.Y. - Nov. 25, 2024 - PRLog -- KidSpirit (https://www.kidspiritonline.com/), the award-winning magazine and community by and for 11-to-17-year-olds, is proud to release its print compilation of the most outstanding work published by youth on its online platform during 2023.

The Best of KidSpirit, Volume X (https://www.magcloud.com/browse/issue/2927109), features pieces selected by the publication's global network of teen editors as most exemplifying its mission to explore life's big questions in an open and collaborative spirit. Youth representatives of over 20 communities around the world voted in this year's KidSpirit Awards, selecting 32 articles, poems, and works of art for special recognition. All of the winners are featured in the new volume, along with similarly lauded content published last year.

Four issues of the online magazine are represented in The Best of KidSpirit, Volume X, each exploring a youth-chosen theme. Readers will discover global youth voices on the topics of Violence and Healing, Courage, Now & Then, and Finding Meaning. Writers and artists included in the volume hail from across the United States, as well as China, Ukraine, India, Haiti, Pakistan, Paraguay, Liberia, Australia, Jordan, Taiwan, Spain, and the UK.

Each issue of KidSpirit revolves around a Big Question posed by the editors and answered in depth by one contributor. All four responses from 2023 are included in the compilation. The volume also offers inspiring personal stories of transformation, eye-opening expository investigations of meaningful topics, powerful poetry, and more.

KidSpirit also includes one column, called PerSpectives, authored by adults, featuring wisdom on each theme from an expert in the field. The Best of KidSpirit, Volume X, contains pieces by Nicole Hockley and Pardeep Kaleka, Michelle Kuo, Phil Cousineau, and Kaitlin Curtice.

This book is a rich resource for families, educators, and youth workers looking for meaningful content and discussion starters, and a great addition to school libraries. KidSpirit has received 17 awards to date and been recognized by a rare blend of journalistic, parenting, and education organizations, including S&P, Parents' Choice, AEP, School Library Journal, Common Sense Media, and Family Circle.
