Arlington Christian School Launches 40 Day Prayer Journey

May 2, 2011 - PRLog -- Pantego Christian Academy, located in Arlington, Texas, launches a 40-day "Journey of Prayer".  Students from every grade level are contributing to this effort by writing a devotional from one of their favorite Bible verses. In addition to each daily devotional is a prayer thought for the day.

The devotional and prayer submissions revealed each day on the "Journey of Prayer" website (http://pantego.com).  Shared also on the school's Facebook page, the daily writings from the students are aimed at encouraging parents, students and staff each day, but provide a foundation for the future as well (http://www.facebook.com/pantego)

"PCA is in the early stages of engaging our families and friends in a capital campaign," noted Pat Cummins, Executive Director of Development for Pantego Christian Academy. "The focus of this effort is to call everyone to prayer in regard to this great ambitious challenge.  Prayer reminds us that God is our Source and with Him all things are possible."

Students selected to write for the "Journey of Prayer" were chosen at random from every grade level. "The feedback has been very positive from students and families," noted Cummins.

The "Journey of Prayer" was launched on Monday, April 18th.  Daily submissions will be posted on the website and Facebook page each day, including Saturdays and Sundays. The "Journey of Prayer" will conclude on Friday, May 27th, the final day of school.
