The Birmingham Volunteer Lawyers Program provides FREE Legal Assistance at Faith Chapel

May 11, 2011 - PRLog -- In response to the recent devastating tornadoes, Faith Chapel Christian Center along with the Birmingham Volunteer Lawyers Program and the Birmingham Bar Association will provide FREE legal services tomorrow, Thursday, May 12, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Faith Chapel Christian Center, 100 Lexington Street, Birmingham, Alabama 35224.

We will be assisting with landlord/tenant issues; insurance issues, including assistance filling out paperwork for claims; assistance filling out FEMA paperwork and other legal documents.  We will also provide assistance for individuals who have lost important documents including vital statistics forms (birth, marriage, divorce and death certificates, driver’s licenses, social security cards, divorce decrees, custody papers, court judgments and other ALACourt related documents.
