Mike Moore Embraces a New Season in Ministry as He Transitions Out of His Role as Senior Pastor at Faith ChapelBy: Faith Chapel BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - June 30, 2022 - PRLog -- MIKE MOORE EMBRACES A NEW SEASON IN MINISTRY AS HE TRANSITIONS OUT OF HIS ROLE AS SENIOR PASTOR AT FAITH CHAPEL
Birmingham, Alabama – After serving as senior pastor for the past 41 years, Mike Moore, the founding pastor of Faith Chapel is transitioning out of his role on January 1, 2023. He affirms, "the future is bright, and Faith Chapel's best days are ahead." Mike Moore started Faith Chapel on April 26, 1981, in his home along with a close friend, his mother, Mary Moore, and his beautiful wife and partner in ministry, Kennetha Moore. Today, Faith Chapel is a multi-campus church with locations in Birmingham, Alabama, and Columbus, Georgia. Moore calls this growth "a testament to God's faithfulness to this ministry." He says that he's excited about the transition because he knows the call on his life, and he believes the past 41 years have prepared him for this time. Mike Moore confirms that he's not retiring. Instead, he will transition full-time to be the CEO of Mike Moore Ministries to fulfill the present call on his life, which is to (1) feed and equip the Body of Christ, (2) develop churches, and (3) coach and mentor leaders. "Transition is biblical. Every God-given vision is always bigger than the visionary. Although I've been the steward, the vision is not changing; we're simply going to another level in the vision," says Mike Moore. That new level begins when Michael K. Moore, Mike Moore's son, assumes the role of Lead Pastor of Faith Chapel effective January 1, 2023. Michael K. accepted the call to ministry in 2005. He's been on staff at Faith Chapel since 2006 and has served as the Executive Pastor since 2012. "I've poured my life into him," said Mike Moore. Michael K. states, "I'm excited to lead Faith Chapel in this new capacity and I'm honored to be part of its future." NOTE:
