Follow on Google News | ![]() Faith Chapel Encourages Church Service Attendees To Spread Generosity in a Bold MoveFaith Chapel Christian Center encourages congregants and visitors to "Just Be Generous" by giving them $10 each.
The rules were simple: •You could not give the money back to the church. •You could not to use it on yourself. •You were requested to share your story on their website of how you helped someone . Dr. Michael D. Moore, Senior Pastor of Faith Chapel, in a recent message on “Generosity” •is being liberal in giving or sharing; •is giving characterized by abundance or extravagance; •is easily and willingly going the extra mile. In a brief interview with Michael K. Moore, Executive Director of Finance, he explained that Just Be Generous is “Faith Chapel’s corporate attempt to put into action Dr. Moore’s teaching on generosity. The money was given as Faith Chapel’s way to encourage the service attendees to live a lifestyle of generosity.” By presenting this campaign, Faith Chapel believes it will inspire others to be generous (with their money, time, and/or resources) in every aspect of their lives and not just on special occasions and holidays. The success of the Just Be Generous campaign will be measured by utilizing the stories shared on the website. Those in the community are encouraged to look for ways to be generous in their own lives and to keep it going by sharing their stories as well.
