Singer/Songwriter Kristine has partnered with Star of Hope to raise funds this holiday season to help Houston's homeless population through sales of her Christmas EP – Home For Christmas. Available Now at cdbaby, Amazon.com and iTunes.

Houston, TX – Inspirational singer/songwriter Kristine has teamed up with Star of Hope to raise funds through the holiday season to help Houston's homeless population. 100% of Kristine's online Home For Christmas digital down-loadable and CD music sales proceeds will be donated to Star of Hope Homeless Mission (http://www.sohmission.org). Songs can be downloaded from cdbaby, Amazon.com and iTunes as singles for only 99 cents or choose to purchase the entire CD. Music allows Kristine to give the gift that keeps on giving.

“This is a small price to pay for the large impact it will have on peoples lives,” states Kristine. “I have always felt a strong conviction to give back and pay it forward.” Particularly close to her heart has been the plight of those with mental illness and the homeless. Growing up Kristine's mother suffered from mental illness. At an early age music provided Kristine an outlet to express her innermost feelings while dealing with her mother's illness. It gave her compassion and a deeper insight into homelessness and related issues. “I am aware that many people who are homeless suffer from mental illness…that is why I have chosen to donate to Star of Hope Mission.”

Kristine collaborated with her husband Steve Trigg to pen and produce all three songs.

About Kristine:

Known as the girl with the golden voice and the million dollar smile – this classically trained soprano is a native of Saginaw, Michigan. She is an honors graduate of Spelman College. Kristine was formerly signed with the Malaco Music Group imprint label, J-Town Records and enjoyed Billboard chart success on the Hot 100 R&B singles chart in the late 90s. Multitalented, her gift enables her to sing a variety of genres and styles. But God has chosen this songstress for the gospel.
