OTTER LLC, makers of popular Text and Drive solution, release new messaging software: Where You @?

Feb. 4, 2013 - PRLog -- SEATTLE -- Today OTTER LLC announced the release of a new location based auto-reply app called: Where You @?   The intuitive software automatically replies to the trigger phrase “@?” with a text map link of the user’s location. “This is another tool by OTTER LLC that will dramatically reduce lethal text conversations while driving and help increase productivity in any situation.  How many location based queries via texts, emails and calls do you get a day?” asks Erik Wood, Founder and CEO of OTTER LLC.  

Where You @? can be used by parents who want to check up on their kids, employers who want to efficiently locate employees in the field, and law enforcement as an aid to missing person’s investigations.  “This is a simple but significant way to make our smartphone use more efficient.  It even doubles as a phone finder,” says OTTER Co-Owner, Troy Niehaus.  Any brand of smartphone can obtain the location of any Where You @? activated phone, as long as the inquirer is an existing contact on that target phone.  Where You @? is a free download in the Android market, and is also advertising-free.

“There is a fun component to this app as well which meets our goal of creating social assets and tools rolled into one,” says OTTER Co-Founder, Jon Lam.  As with the launch of the original OTTER app in April 2010, Where You @? uses GPS functionality and messaging to make cell phone use safer and more productive.  “My wife has been using the beta version that is on my phone for the last three months.  It just works and saves time and distractions,” adds Erik Wood.
