Dermalogica Provides Demonstration to Cerritos College Esthetician Students on Treating Aging Skin

Carrie Rawitzer from Dermalogica provided an education demonstration to the students of the Cerritos College Esthetician program.

NORWALK, Calif. - April 2, 2014 - PRLog -- Carrie demonstrated how to treat aging skin. Signs of aging are: fine lines around the eyes and mouth, deep lines, wrinkles, and pigmentation. Aging is a common concern for many people, which is why Carrie recommends “Treating aging skin early. Preventative action is vital to protecting skin and retaining youthfulness.”

The signs of aging skin can be treated through Esthetician services.

Beth, an Esthetician student, volunteered to receive the aging skin facial treatment. First, Carrie addressed her client’s concerns about her skin. She asked: What are your specific concerns or challenges? How does your skin feel today? What is your at home skin care regimen?

“Skin is changing all the time. As we get older our bodies product less oil. To treat aging skin, use cleansers with oils,” said Dermalogica’s Carrie Rawitzer.

To treat aging skin, Carrie from Dermalogica used their Pre-Cleanse, AGE Smart® Skin Resurfacing Cleanser, Exfoliant Accelerator 35, Multivitamin Power Exfoliant, Multivitamin Thermafoliant, Multivitamin Power Recovery Masque, and Contour Masque for an Eye Treatment.

Pre-cleanse works on all skin conditions. It thoroughly cleanses skin, removes oils without clogging pores, smooth’s, calms, and nourishes skin.

The AGE Smart®  Skin Resurfacing Cleanser treats mature or prematurely-aging skin. It cleanses and exfoliates skin, retextures skin by accelerating cell turnover, fortifies skin, and helps hydrate and brighten the skin.

Exfoliant Accelerator 35 treats prematurely-aging skin. It provides an intense exfoliation which leaves skin smooth, it accelerates efficacy of exfoliants, and it helps stimulate cell renewal and cell turnover rates that help smooth skin, and it improves skin texture and tone.

Multivitamin Power Exfoliant treats dry, sun damaged, mature or prematurely-aging skin. It exfoliates, can be massaged into skin, and allows products to penetrate into the skin.

Multivitamin Thermafoliant is for mature or prematurely-aging skin. It polishes off dulling skin and revels smoother, fresher skin immediately. Multivitamin Thermafoliant also drives beneficial ingredients further into skin, provides antioxidant protection, conditions skin, and improves the look and feel of skin.

Multivitamin Power Recovery Masque treats mature or prematurely-aging skin. It boosts skin hydration and suppleness, increases elasticity, adds antioxidant vitamins to repair skin damage, and soothes and calms the skin.

The Eye Treatment Contour Masque is for sensitized, mature, prematurely-aging skin in need of firming. It firms and contours skin and increases circulation.

“Dermalogica training is a great learning tool for our students.
