“WASTELAND” Signs Nicholas X. Parsons

LANSING, Mich. - Oct. 13, 2014 - PRLog -- Directed by Kevin Buchholz these series of tales unfold on a distant planet with a semi toxic atmosphere and a host of truly toxic characters. Previously it was announced that DJ Perry (Dean Teaster’s Ghost Town) and David Gries (America’s Most Haunted) had signed on and now the final co-star has been cast.

Meet Nicholas X. Parsons who grew up in Chesapeake, Virginia studying acting at The Governor’s School for the Arts in Norfolk. He received a Theater Arts Degree from George Mason University. He became a regular talent on television shows such as “A Haunting” and “America’s Most Wanted,” which led to his starring role as a mass murderer in the Suspense-Thriller film debut “In The Pines”.  (Winner of the 2008 Virginia Independent Film Festival) Additional leading roles in independent films like “Hair Grows In Funny Places” led to Nicholas co-starring on USA Network’s “Burn Notice,” “Graceland” and a recurring role as ‘Stanzi Palmer’ on the last season of “Necessary Roughness.” He moved to the big screen in Michael Bay’s “Pain And Gain” sharing scenes with Mark Wahlberg,  Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and Tony Shalhoub. Most recently he landed the lead in the film “Power Of The Air” co-starring “Anna” a.k.a. Patty Duke, and Michael Gross set for a spring of 2015 theatrical release.

Nicholas now resides in “Hollywood South” New Orleans and is looking forward to his role in “Wasteland” marking his first time working on-screen with DJ Perry and David Gries.  Additionally he is looking forward to working with director Kevin Buchholz who has created this unique batch of characters and their tales in the distant “Wasteland”.
