Richard Walker, Chairman of Think IT, who accepted the award on behalf of Think IT, shared, “We are so honored by this award and feel so fortunate to work with such a wonderful organization. However, none of this would be possible without the generosity and support of our Think IT members and their organizations which have been so willing to contribute to this cause. We are so grateful for them.” Think IT will continue their partnership with Genesys Works for this year’s 2015 Think IT Charity Golf Invitational on Monday, June 29th at Minneapolis Golf Club. The event currently has sponsors from companies such as 3M, Medtronic, Deluxe Corporation, and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota to name a few. “This has become my favorite time of year.” Walker continued, “It is so exciting to see our community of IT leaders come out to raise money and celebrate Genesys Works in such a big way. We raised around $40,000 last year, and I have no doubt that we’re going to top that this year.” To learn more about the upcoming 2015 Think IT Charity Golf Invitational, please visit www.thinkgenworksgolf.org. About Think IT Association The overall mission of Think IT is to foster professional growth and development through the power of networking and collaboration. Think IT Association was founded in 2009 as a service of York Solutions and currently has over 2,300 members in eight different groups in Minneapolis, over 300 members in Chicago, and over 100 members in Saint Louis. Most groups meet on a monthly basis in an informal roundtable format with a different member from the group facilitating (not presenting) each session. Think IT feels strongly about the importance of giving back and is very lucky to also have a community of generous IT professionals to help contribute to their efforts. The goal with each community outreach opportunity is to not only personally lend a helping hand, but to create greater awareness for each organization’ For more information, visit Think IT’s website: http://www.thinkitassociation.org/ End
