Northern Roads Selected To Perform At Big Music Fest Breaking Bands Event

TORONTO - July 2, 2015 - PRLog -- Northern Roads were excited to receive the call that they’ve been selected to play in the Breaking Bands Event at The Big Music Fest in Kitchener, on Friday, July 10, 2015.

The 7 day music fest features many artists such as Sound Garden, Glorious Sons, Big Sugar, Monster Truck and Extreme. “We are certainly stoked to be performing at this highly respected festival and ready to rock the stage, “says Matt McCartney.

The multi-talented, McCartney brothers, started making music at a very young age. Mitch was the youngest person hired as a music instructor for the City of Toronto. Their Alternative Folk Rock band from Scarborough formed in 2013 and consists of long-time friends Connor Allen (Lead Vocals), Rob Almeida (Guitar, Vocals), Mitch McCartney (Guitar, vocals) and Matt McCartney (Percussion, Guitar, and Vocals). Their sound has been influenced by and compared to Mumford & Sons and The Lumineers.

Northern Roads caught the attention of Cathie Faint and Cindy Sutch from Catherine Faint Entertainment Inc. who has signed Northern Roads to their Agency division.
