PRLog -- It should be understood that "denominations"
or branches off of Christianity, did not exist at the time of Christ or for many years of the early Church. Nowhere in the scriptures are denominations actually mentioned but that is not to say that Christ-centered denominations are not greatly needed today. Still, we must understand that a denomination cannot save people, it is Jesus Christ who saves and denominations are simply avenues for The Gospel. We should be "Christians"
first and faithful to denominations second, otherwise there is glorification of denomination, above Christ. The Church is not a denomination it is "The Body of Christ" according to the Holy Bible (I Corinthians 12:12 and 12:27).
The Evangelical Christian Churches are not "many religions", as some believe, they are "denominations"
of the same faith. Each denomination has "Statements of Beliefs". By reading these, it is revealed that the Evangelicals largely agree on the major doctrines of the Holy Bible.
My full statement of beliefs are found in the final chapter of the book linked, here: https://www.amazon.com/French-Huguenot-Protestant-Reforma...
