"While we are disappointed to not be gathering in Downtown Waterbury this fall, the health and safety of our attendees, brewers, volunteers, judges, and the community is, and always has been, our top priority." Said Carl Rosa, CEO of Main Street Waterbury. "We have been monitoring the on-going spread of COVID-19 in our state and the rest of the country, and while we made every attempt to re-work a smaller more intimate VIP experience that would be in compliance with safety measures, the delay to Connecticut's reopening phase 3 announced by Governor Ned Lamont, and under the guidance of the City of Waterbury, the Mayor and his staff, the decision to postpone the event to the Spring of 2021 was in the best interest of our community". Main Street Waterbury looks forward to releasing more details of its brew tour book experience in the fall that will allow its +21 aged patrons and others to enjoy the great brews across Connecticut. The community will be able to support local breweries and microbrews as well as provide funding support to Main Street Waterbury's mission of a clean, safe and friendly downtown through programming which the non-profit organization develops with its volunteers, partners and stakeholders. Details will be forthcoming as will an announcement regarding a rescheduled Brass City Brew & 'Que Spring 2021 date.
