LANSING, Mich. - June 23, 2021 - PRLog -- The CDI Tribe (www.cdiproductions.com) is a Michigan-based production company that in two and a half decades has honed the art of a good story. The unique actor/producer troupe behind hits like 'The Quest Trilogy,' 'Wild Faith,' 'Man's Best Friend' and 'Lost Heart' are at it again in the dramedy 'Best Years Gone'. A musically driven story that follows the post glory life for middle-aged, dreamer, slacker and former race car driver, Gil Gilles (DJ Perry). After several years of destructive behavior, Gil is devoid of any real friends or family save the equally destructive 'love of his life' Sylvia (Erika Hoveland). This challenging relationship is further strained by Sylvia's twin daughters (Tessa & Zoie Dye) who have been victimized by a string of Sylvia's past boyfriends and want no part of Gil. Generation X collides with the Millennials! True love, family, forgiveness, dreams and drama all play into this quirky tale directed by Shane Hagedorn from a script adaption by DJ Perry of Karl Manke's book 'Hope from Heaven'.
