ConFunkShun Celebrates 40th Anniversary of "Love's Train" During Grammy Weekend at Silk Sonic Show

LAS VEGAS - March 23, 2022 - PRLog -- R&B Funk band, ConFunkShun, celebrates the 40^th year of the hit single "Love's Train" during Grammy weekend (April 1-3) while attending Silk Sonic show in Las Vegas at Park MGM.  The classic love song from ConFunkShun's tenth album, To The Max, was released in 1982, peaking at #11 on Billboard R&B Charts propelling the album to Gold Status.

Love's Train, written by ConFunkShun's founding members Michael Cooper and Felton Pilate, has again charted with a new cover of the song released on Valentine's Day by Super Duo Silk Sonic.  It is again climbing the charts and finding its way into the hearts of a new generation.  "Silk Sonic paid a lot of attention to detail and amazingly captured the same emotion in the original song," said Felton Pilate.   ConFunkShun gives their honest opinion along with a special message to Silk Sonic during an exclusive interview with KAMDI Konversations.
