Follow on Google News | Stay at the NEW Wadi Rum Bubble Luxotel Hotel in JordanBy: Corinthian Travel The hotel is set within the spectacular red desert landscape of Wadi Rum and offers one of the most unique sleeping experiences in Jordan. Indeed, the setting is so magnificent that guests might find it hard to avoid comparisons with living on another planet! The camp's luxurious air-conditioned Bubble suites are probably the finest in Rum and are formed of three interconnecting globes, each with its own spacious deck, table and chairs, outdoor hammock, and Jacuzzi. The Bubble suite has parquet floors throughout and the living room has a comfortable seating area, with 180-degree views of the desert and mountains through the transparent floor to ceiling sides. The bedroom bubble leads off from the living room and is complete with a comfortable bed, nightstands, and a see-through ceiling through which you can observe the magnificent spectacle of the sky at night without stirring from your duvet. Bathrooms are in the third section of each bubble and feature a washbasin, loo, shower with hot and cold running water, and a small wardrobe. Wooden walkways (illuminated at night) link the Bubble suites to Wadi Rum Bubble Luxotel's dining dome where the buffet meals are comprised of delicious meats straight from the grill, a wide selection of fresh Arabian salads, and slow cooked local delicacies such as mansaaf. The hotel does not have a licence to serve alcohol, though guests are permitted to bring their own (bubbles in the Bubble!)! Wi-Fi is available throughout.
