Follow on Google News | Erfan Nouraee's innovative solutionBy: Fibrelink Nouraee developed a device that detects the particles of light. He said he was inspired to build that by the broadband digital divide. He's also used technology to tackle climate change and mental health challenges. Nouraee says he wants to inspire others to get into science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields. Because, from personal experience, it's not easy when you don't see anyone else like you. So I really want to put out that message: Everyone can be an inventor. Nouraee was chosen from a field of more than 1000 inventors from 35 countries. He is a TEDx speaker, the recipient of the 2021 International Invention and Innovation Award, and in 2016 was named Iran's Top Young Scientist and included on the Khawrazmi Award recipients list. Nouraee spent months trying to convince local high schools and colleges to give him 0lab time to continue his experiment. At home, Nouraee worked on his project in the "science room" he asked his parents to create for him. About Erfan Nouraee: Iranian young inventor Erfan Nouraee is best known for creating a fiber-optic communication sensor that can make high-speed internet more accessible and affordable and recently launched a new mental health awareness service called "iMind" which uses artificial intelligence to help youth tackle mental health challenges.
