June 9, 2010 - PRLog -- This is the E3000, a new addition to the E series phone from China.  The E series has become known for there combination of sliding QWERTY keyboards designs.  They are equally well known for their good use of the MTK2335 chip for getting higher end features like Wi-Fi and large screen.




These are some basic specs so you can get a picture of this mobile phone.

It is GSM quad band, and carrier unlocked.
Dual SIM ports are built in with dual standby also provided.
The primary construction material is PCP (Polycarbonate plastic).
The screen comes at a comfortable 3.2 inches, is TFT and has a resolution of 320x480.
Total weight for the phone is 140gm.
It measures in at L111xW51xH16mm.
It comes with internet access using WAP 2.0, GPRS, EDGE, and Wi-Fi.
It comes with a 2.5mm standard earphone jack.
When not in use, the QWERTY keyboard hides under the phone, and when needed can be slid out.
It has a typical battery life of 46~60 hours when on standby.
A java platform is built in, so the phone comes with some java based apps already preinstalled and allows the user to download and install new ones.
A MP3/ MP4 player, a 1.9MP camera plus camcorder, an eBook reader, an analog TV, a Bluetooth receiver, and a FM radio are it primary media options.

Pros and cons of the E3000 include:

Pros
Sliding out the QWERTY board is quick and simple, and the QWERTY keys themselves are raised and easy to press.
When the QWERTY is slid out, the phone automatically adjusts to widescreen format.
The screen is very large and shows up very clearly in lighted conditions.
It comes with a large number of preinstalled and highly useful java apps such as Snaptu and Google Maps.
The Wi-Fi reception was quite good when I tested it.
Standard earphone jacks are always welcome on a phone.

Cons
The weight is a tad high at 140gm.
Battery use is lowered quite a bit when running with Wi-Fi on.
The TV reception was spotty.
The camera is 1.9MP but not the best of quality.

Overall, the E3000 is a pretty good mobile phone that really gets high marks for it QWERTY plus touchscreen integration.
