Follow on Google News | KidSpirit's Fall Issue Highlights Youth Voices on Strength and InfluenceBy: KidSpirit Each issue of KidSpirit revolves around a Big Question posed by the all-youth Editorial Board. This season, the editors ask, "How do we know what influence is good for us?" In her response, a young editor from New York City dives into the many forces shaping teens' lives. Other pieces released today include a young writer's exploration of propaganda, a student's reflection on what he learned from a simple haircut, an editor's piece on how his multi-religious upbringing has nurtured his inner strength, an author's article on the joy of sharing her passion for reading, and a review of the classic novel Lord of the Flies. Throughout the season, KidSpirit will continue to publish writing, poetry, artwork, and video by youth on this issue's theme. In Features, one editor will analyze the role of young people in activism. Awesome Moments pieces will delve into transformative experiences, while the Interfaith Connections department will feature perspectives of teens from different faith traditions. The Helping Hands section will explore the life-changing impact of serving others, and, in Media, a young author will share her thoughts on the newest film adaptation of Little Women. KidSpirit is a unique forum for young people of all backgrounds and traditions to explore life's big questions in an open spirit.
